Meetingplace for participants of conferences, festivals and networking events. Stimulates contact between people. When two participants meet up and scan their RFID tagged conference badge they will receive a drink voucher.
The Friend-Drink-Station works like a little game. Participants are stimulated to meet up with their network and extent it with new contacts. A free drink is not the only positive outcome, the contact is added to an online network and the Station prints out a souvenir profile of both people. Handy, at big events you usually run out of visiting cards anyway.
The Friend-Drink-Station was succesfully introduced during Picnic '06. and will be available at PICNIC 08.
