Shop
The shop module allows users to buy items posted on the site. Editors can use the same rich tools to describe their products as on the rest of the site. Descriptions can include photos, video, audio as well as text. Users add items to a cart and checkout within the site.
What is it?
A module to list and sell items through the site.
How does it work?

Use Case
Saskia, an archivist and researcher wants to set up shop
Saskia Van Duuren is a 33 year old archivist and researcher. At work, her job is to find new ways to use and upgrade their image archive. Many of her projects revolve around collecting and publishing stories from locals related to images in the archives. In order to support and enhance this work, the museum has launched a storytelling website.
The Shop
The museum has collected a large archive of images of the area, and some of them are pretty great. In the museum shop, they have started to sell t-shirts and posters featuring some of these images. Saskia gets requests from some of her interviewees about buying these things.
In order to widen the distribution, Saskia logs onto the the site and sets up a shop. In the same way that she makes articles and uploads images, she creates pages for her store describing what they sell. The proceeds will help fund the project. As the person responsible for the store, she subscribes to notifications so she gets an email every time someone buys something from the shop in real time. At the end of each month, she visits the shop keeper section of the site to see how much she has sold.
Seeing how the shop works, Saskia thinks about whether they should sell tickets online to an upcoming event so they will know how many people to expect.
