Frederico, 39 years old curator and artist.

Frederic is hard working and passionate about situating art into everyday experience. Over the last several years, he has been working on a foundation to support public space-based art projects in Europe. The foundation funds public art projects and then promotes the work created. He loves learning about new work and promoting his artists. He has launched a site to display the work, help readers find projects of interest and to promote events.

Forum Module

One thing Frederic has realized is that although the grant recipients on the site work on similar types of projects and encounter related challenges, they do not have a clear way to share knowledge with one another. As part of the fellowship, Fred decides to launch a forum for his current and past artists. They post questions and comments to each other to help one another carry out their projects and foster collaborations amongst themselves.

Lyla is one of the grant recipients. She wants to plan an event in the Polder but she’s not sure how to find a specific location. Will anyone living there let her stage her event on their land? She posts her question to the forum. Another artist, Jasper, comes from that area and he still has some family living close by. He posts a reply to Lyla offering some help. Lyla, seeing the post, messages Jasper directly through the site and they continue their conversation.
