What is it? How does it work?

Use Case
Hannah, an avid reader wants to share and read book reviews
Hannah is a 52 years old curator who works in new media doing project development. She reads a lot in her field and beyond and tries to keep up with general trends and both new media and business. He talks about books with his friends and likes to hear what they are reading and what they recommend. Sometimes they compare reactions in person and increasingly through social network sites.
Hannah has just read a new book, "The Upside of Irrationality", about how people act in consistently less than rational ways. It makes her think about her own actions and she wants to share it with her community. She logs onto the site and searches for the book. In the main body of the page she sees a description of the book. On the right is a list of fans and on the top of the page is the average rating for the book. She sees a couple of her contacts are fans. She clicks on “rate this” and adds his own rating. She also adds a comment about how the book clarified some things for her. Thinking about other things to read, she notes the similar books listed on the right of the page. She looks through them, Freakonomics, Blink, and Predictably Irrational to see what other people rated it. She reads some of their comments and thinks about what to read next.
