Notifications

Notifications is a module designed for sites to keep in contact with the user base and support ongoing site interaction. With notifications, you can automatically let users know about relevant actions on the site.

How?
Notifications are a set of automated messages sent to the user when an event that they might be interested happens on the site. For example, when a user writes an article, she will be notified about the comments other people add to it. If she is tagged in a photograph, she will will be notified. Users receive an email and with one click, they can return to the appropriate page to see the event and respond.

Users have control which notifications they receive through a section in the preferences page.
