Duintjer CS

Duintjer CS is the old ABN bank, a brown building with 'hanging gardens' and a passage to the Kerkstraat. Our office is located on the third floor (with a view southwards) with an entry at Vijzelstraat 72.

Mediamatic Foundation is using Vijzelstraat 68 as exhibition space.

Public transport

- From the Central Station:
Upon leaving the station, take tram 16, 24 or 25 on the left side. Get out at the tram stop Keizersgracht. Duintjer is 200 metres ahead, across the bridge on your right.

- From Amsterdam East:
Take tram 10 (passing Lloyd hotel and Amstel Hotel) or tram 7 (Indische buurt, Oosterpark), and stop at Weteringschans. Get out, turn right and walk in 3 minutes along the Vijzelstraat to Duintjer CS. We're on the left.

- From Amsterdam West:
Take tram 10 (Marnixstraat, van Hallstraat) or tram 7 (Kinkerstraat, Slotermeer) and get out on the Weteringschans. Turn into the Vijzelstraat and walk for 3 minutes. You'll find Duintjer CS on the left.

- From Amsterdam South:
Take tram 16 (De Lairessestraat, VU Medical centre), tram 24 (Stadionweg, VU) or tram 25 (Rijnstraat) and get out on the Keizergracht. Walk back for 200 metres, Duintjer CS is across the bridge on your right.

- Alternative Metro + Tram and from Amsterdam South-East
Take the metro to metrostation Weesperplein (for example from South East, Amstelstation or Zuid WTC), get out and take tram 10 (in the direction of van Hallstraat) or 7 (to Slotermeer) and step out on Weteringschans.

Parking

Parking in the area around Duintjer CS isn't easy. It is the centre of town and the building doesn't have an underground parking lot. You can try to park along the Prinsengracht or the Keizersgracht, or in the Kerkstraat but during the daytime space will be limited. Parkingfee is approximately 4 euro's per hour.
Loading and unloading at the Vijzelstraat is possible.

Taxi

Taxi's can reach Duintjer CS without problem. A taxi from Shiphol airport should not be more than 40 euro. But train to Amsterdam Central Station and tram 16, 24 or 25 are equally fast.

Bicycle

You can get to Duintjer CS easily on a bike. The Vijzelstraat is the big street between Muntplein and the Weteringschans, the Ferdinand Bolstraat and the famous neighbourhood de Pijp.
