Nomination Amsterdam Prize

Oeuvre prize BKVB (The Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture)
Willem Velthoven, director Mediamatic, received an Oeuvre prize from The Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture for his completely new approach to the design field. Here you will find an impression from the ceremony on December 4, 2009.

Back in the days...
In 1995, when new media was truly new, the project Doors of Perception received several awards. With this project, a conference on CD-ROM, Mediamatic won, among others, a Meta Design Award and a New Voices, New Visions Award.
