How many times during seminars or conferences does it happen, that when someone gets the mic he or she says: 'Hello. My name is... hmma de mmahh'. Nobody gets the name. Who is this person? Do I know him or her? The first words of the interruption are often lost due to the rumor.
The Mediamatic Interruption Microphone or ikMic works with a RFID reader. By holding the ikTag at the microphone the name of the speaker directly appears on the screen or the backchannel. Other information from their profiles can also be displayed.
'Aha, it's a lady from that organisation'. All participants will know who the speaker is and the reaction will get better context.
