013 The Automatic VJ Machine KaapEngine v2.0 The Automatic VJ Machine (or KaapEngine v2.0) is a commissioned work of art by Gerald van der Kaap, the godfather of veejays. http://www.xs4all.nl/~00kaap/vj_info.html It was a public showcase in the Dutch city of Tilburg at the new music venue 013, in November 1998. Every day The Automatic VJ Machine generated a sequence of video files, which were projected on a huge screen that is incorporated into the building's façade. |
