  Je nadert een digitale stad als immigrant/kolonisator; de stad betreden heet niet-plaatsen (het onbekende) in plaatsen (als je weet hoe het in elkaar zit) te veranderen. De stad bestaat niet uit gebouwen, maar uit texten en en plaatjes.

De auteuren kunnen hun eigen "kamer" bouwen en zijn plaats in het gebouw zelf bepalen.

• Simon Biggs The Great Wall of China:

Ontworpen voor de simultane realisatie in verschillende media (website, cd-rom, boek en interactieve installatie) , is dit project gebaseerd op een real-time interactieve taal-machine. De grote muur van China is de metafoor voor de navigatie, omdat het systeem een eindeloze stroom van steeds veranderende teksten produceert. Geïnspireerd door Kafka's verhaal "De grote muur van China" zijn alle worden uit de database vanuit dit verhaal genomen.
