Author of Behaviour.
Characteristically, interactive media always
show a certain behaviour in their reaction to the user. This behaviour can be very predictable. Usually, this is called a user-friendly interface. But behaviour can also be a carrier of meaning, the designer then can allow for different sorts of meaning through allowing different behaviours. This is possible through anticipating the actions and expectations of the user, deciding via choice options what the user will experience at a certain moment. Furthermore is it possible to put the behaviour of a presentation into an algorithm. In this case, the author writes a system of rules that generates a richer and much more complex behaviour of text, sound and image.
